D2XStrengths: Image Quality, Build, user interface, speed (poweron, Images per second) battery life, High speed crop mode Weakness: Auto White Balance not perfect. The D2x is unquestionably the best Camera I have ever owned. Its image detail is amazing as is its tonal range and color saturation. the metering is excellent. For the professional or the advanced amateur it is a near perfect camera. Auto White Balance is not perfect. Dynamic focusing can be tricked by motion. On the other hand, Color from this camera is amazing. My experience with Nikon Digital...

Nikon D2X SLR Digital Camera Body OnlyStrengths: Extremely fast autofocus and large image buffer... Worked with the camera at the zoo recently with some action shots.. Nailed the images on most of the shots I took. Fast motor drive and great feel Weakness: A tad bit heavy This camera is similar to my older film camera A F5 system. Has the same speed in motor drive and allows for a high speed crop. Makes wildlife shots a breeze now instead of buying the more expensive glass. Image quality is outstanding. 12MPxel camera sensor makes details pop out.

Nikon D2X SLR Digital Camera Body OnlyStrengths: Versatility of features, speed along with resolution, rugged design. Weakness: Price I purchased my Nikon D2X from Cardinal Camera in Lansdale, Pa. The D2X is ergonomically designed, and comfortable to hold in either portrait (vertical) or landscape orientation. The controls are well-placed on the body, and have a solid, professional feel. The 2.5-inch 235,000 pixel LCD provides a very clear view of menu's and image playback. There are a great number of options for focusing;...

Nikon D2X SLR Digital Camera Body OnlyStrengths: Outstanding image quality, great white balance performance, very fast focus and shutter speeds, good navigation menus, solid build, good noise performance (ISO 100 - 800) Weakness: Expensive, heavy, ISO is good up to 800 but deteriorates quite a bit from 800 to 1600, no stops between ISO 800-1600, ISO 3200 should only be used as a last resort, RAW white-balance encryption This camera is simply outstanding! Aside from the mentioned noise issues (which I would not consider major problems but minor), the worst thing about the camera is the white-balance RAW encryption. This is rather foolish by Nikon considering the WB is so great and this advantage is basically lost if you use Adobe. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this camera!

Nikon to the maximumStrengths: High Speed Crop Mode, its precious when you need it. Smooth ISO 100, at 12.4 megapixels. All business build quality. Weakness: High ISO is not as good as the D50 or the D2Hs. Not as descrete as the D200. This camera will not fail you. It does not have any of the problems its brother the D2h had with the meter failing, or very bad high ISO noise. This King of the Nikon lineup has everything and possibly more than most demanding user will need. While it is not cheap its is a better value than anything North of 10 megapixels at the moment. Most people will be able to throw out their medium format...

Super digital camera!!Strengths: Good resolution, Good toughness battery!! Weakness: Nothing I have no concern about this camera. High speed silent AF, good resolution and toughness battery. I'm using with 18-200mm VR2 lens and these are good balance. I don't think that it is heavy weight camera. Night view photo quality is wonderful!!

Nikon D2X Camera
Strengths: Solid design and feel, large LCD, excellent control, improved menu and button selection system. Fantastic battery life with Lithium Battery.Stunning viewfinder 100%
Weakness: None I can find
I previously owned a D1 and then a D1X and I have to say the D2X is a stunning leap forward in my opinion. The larger LCD display is fantastic, the new layout of the back of the camera is much better (your nose doesent smear the new LCD with the new placement) The large 2-1/2" display is really nice, clear and crisp. The new access buttons make the new more complex menu system simpler to navigate...
